What does the new law say? How will it affect you?
As an overreaction to the Bruen decision by the Supreme Court of the United States, the legislators in Annapolis had concern for the first time in over 50 years about people carrying firearms. As long as just the privileged people had firearms, they had no concern and had never made any effort to restricted carry in half a century. But now, that the average Joe can carry, they crushed your constitutional protections and removed your ability to carry unless your get permission from the property owner to enter their building. In other words, they have empowered the property owner over our forefathers.
Many members of the Maryland Senate and House of Delegates did not uphold their oath. The very one they each swore to uphold at the beginning of the legislative session. Below you have full access to the new law and the vote count.
